Pet care experience
I have years of experience caring for pets. I am passionate about all animals. I love dogs and cats equally and have both as pets. I've cared for elderly animals, animals with illnesses, given medicines orally or by injection. I'm excellent with puppies and kittens with little to no training. I'm not a certified trainer but I've trained many dogs as a layman. I have experience with multiple breeds of dog from Great Danes to Pomeranians. I am a true cat person and understand their unique personalities. I'm patient with them, even those who are fearful of strangers. My main purpose on this site is to have the opportunity to fulfill my passionate love for animals and provide a service to working or vacationing pet parents. I will treat your pets as my own and I look forward to meeting them. I have a 90 pound mastiff mix and a long haired black domestic cat.

Derrick is very good with my cat. She’s very skittish with new people, and he was willing to (literally) get on her level and win her over. He has a very calm, soothing demeanor. He’s also very reliable and willing to learn how we like to do things. Everything we could want in a cat sitter!

This depends on the pets and their needs. I love high energy pets as well as more laid back ones; my energy and playstyle depends on theirs. I love long walks or, if the pet and owner prefers, more lowkey petting sessions.

My regular work schedule varies, but is typically M - F 7 to 330 pm. Usually telework M-W and am off and available on weekends.
