Pet care experience
I’ve been a dog owner pretty much my whole life. I’m currently the proud owner of a mini Australian shepherd and I would do anything for her. I also grew up with my dad’s pit bulls so I have plenty of experience with bigger dogs. I’ve cared for a wide variety of dogs (senior dogs, puppies, handicapped dogs) and I’m looking forward to working with many more. I’ve been working for Rover around 5 years now so I have plenty of experience with the app. My availability is flexible and I will try to provide you with a truly exceptional experience. My phone is always around me so if you need any updates I’ll be sure to answer as quick as possible. I’m open to all your dog sitting/walking needs and look forward to working with you and your dogs. I also own three cats so if you have any cats I can take care of them as well! I love my pets and it’s always a pleasure meeting other people’s animals.

Our beloved fur-boy is Garrett, a 4-year-old Siberian Husky who loves Richie! Just recently, we went away for a 5-day trip and had to leave Garrett at home. Luckily, we met Richie and hired him to do drop-in visits, 3 times a day, for the entire time we were away. Richie made sure that Garrett was taken out for his potty breaks, took him for walks and provided the kind of service and care that he needed. Richie delivered beyond my expectations. He is very reliable, dependable and communicated really well, providing us with updates and feedbacks. From now onwards, he is my to-go-to person whenever we need a back up care for Garrett!
Richie did a fabulous job of taking care of Sandy while we were on vacation.
Ritchie did an excellent job of taking care of Tyson! He even went the extra effort to dry him off when it was wet outside. I would highly recommend him. He made us feel at ease leaving our dog with him and we didn’t have to follow up to see how things were going as he always let us know.
Richie did a terrific job walking my two large and spirited lab mixes. He is calm kind and firm at the same time which worked perfectly.

Some basic information that is helpful for me when taking care of your dog is things like their feeding schedule and how long their walks are. Also, if your dog has any special needs please make sure to tell me so that I can accommodate for them.
A typical day
During my usual visits I can do anything from taking your dog on a nice long walk to playing fetch with them in the backyard. I want to make sure your dog enjoys their time with me and gets plenty of exercise for the day. If they just need a potty break that’s okay too!

Availability
Pet care is currently the main focus of my routine. I love what I do and I would like to keep doing it for as long as I possibly can. I am doing this full time while enrolled in grad school. My classes are online and at night so it does not interfere with my schedule.
