Pet care experience
I primarily cater to senior dogs, 7+. Specifically those who are able to co-mingle with other seniors of various sizes. I have been adopting senior dogs for the last 8 years. Currently, we have 3 seniors in our home; Desel is our 8 year old gentle giant, Autumn is 10 and Chance is 14. I have experience with special needs senior dogs; specifically with deaf dogs, blind dogs and dogs without teeth. I am able to administer medications, and will tailor my home to your dog's needs.

Richele is an absolutely amazing dog sitter and human! My dogs loved her and were treated so well. I really appreciated getting a morning and an evening update with lots of photos - it's nice getting these at set intervals so you aren't wondering how things are going! I only accept 1 family at a time and up to 2 dogs per day to ensure our environment stays safe, welcoming and to guarantee each pup receives individualized attention.

Your dog’s tolerance of other dogs of various sizes is very important for me to know. Desel is about 90 pounds, whereas Chance is 6 pounds. I’d also like to know your dog’s temperament around small children. I have a respectful toddler who has been raised around fragile senior pups. This helps me to make sure your dog has their very best time in my home.
A typical day
My dogs enjoy most of their day lounging around. I have fluffy beds all throughout my home and dogs are always allowed on the furniture. Desel gets a daily walk (about 1 mile), I’d be happy to take your pup along if they are up for it.

You can trust someone will be with your pup(s) at all times as I work from home. My home is safe, senior dog friendly and someone is always present! I pride myself on providing a home where seniors are not only welcomed but cherished as well.
