I have 23 years of experience taking care of dogs and cats for our family, friends and neighbors. I love animals and treat them like family, and will take care of yours the same! I am currently retired at home with the time and flexibility to care for your pets. I aim to adapt to each pet's needs and schedule, so that time with me is their home away from home. I live in a house with a fenced backyard and able to crate your pet if needed. I also live in a safe community near trials and parks great for walks!

I was very worried to leave my little old lady with strangers but I soon realized I had no reason to worry. Coco was so well taken care of and loved. I so appreciated the pictures and videos. I would not hesitate to leave Coco with Richard again.
Richard took excellent care of our Australian Shepherd, Toby, for our week away. Our dog loves attention, ball play and walks, and he got tons of it with Richard. We had so many photos and videos, we could tell he was well cared for. We appreciated his conscientious attention to our instructions, and wouldn’t hesitate to use him again.
Second time leaving our dog with Richard. Very happy with the care he was given. Will continue using.
My experience with Richard was very frustrating. I had told him several times that Abby is a rescue dog. In one of the 12 TWELVE (!!!!) photos and videos he sent me. Abby was being hand fed which I don’t understand. if she’s hungry she will eat and I feel like she was being overwhelmed during her visit. Also speaking of being overwhelmed I found it to be very overwhelming in a 24 hour period to be bombarded with 12 photos and videos one or two would’ve sufficed. The whole idea is to have a day off And enjoy myself and being pinged literally once an hour with updates was intense and completely overkill. There was a huge miscommunication when my husband picked Abby up I won’t go into that but that was also very annoying. The whole experience was frustrating and I won’t be booking with Richard again .
