Pet care experience
I adopted one of my current dogs Louis from a shelter when I moved away for college. We became inseparable and I've since spent most of my days caring and spoiling him and my wife's dog Akali. He is a senior dog and I've learned how to cater to his specific needs to keep him happy and healthy, including caring for teeth extractions (he has no teeth!). I go on runs together with both pups and I bathe and clip their nails frequently to ensure their comfort and safety. I also have experience caring for close friends and family's dogs both boarding at my home and pet sitting at their homes. I'm their go-to, reliable person because of the quick and loving bond I embrace with their beloved pups.

I have a fenced in yard where the dogs are free to roam and play. I have an additional room for guests and pets to stay in and I have all different sized dog beds scattered around the apartment and in the yard for comfy lounging. I stay stocked with pet treats and toys! My dogs have different tastes in toys so there are soft toys, chewing toys, ropes for tugging and many more :)

Do they have any dietary needs? Do they have any issues with other dog breeds? How much exercise do they need? Are they likely to escape?
A typical day
I'm a marathon runner who loves to run everyday so if your dog is up for it, I'd love to take them out to the nearby greenway and knock out a few miles together. I have experience with running with 2 dogs at a time. I strap them to my waist which leaves my hands free for an additional dog or 2. I have reflective vests for small dog breeds. Throughout the day I leave the sliding door open to our large private yard so the dogs can roam, play and sunbathe. I'll take breaks from work periodically to go out there and play with them or we'll go to the massive dog park that's inside my apartment complex which comes equipped with a bathing station! There's also a beautiful lake inside the complex that I can take them walking around. My 2 dogs enjoy being in packs so your dog will be easily initiated and welcomed. I live in a very quiet neighborhood with lots of nature around so your dog is in store for a very fun and pleasant stay. If I'm dog sitting at your place my offer still stands about that run/walk and park visit.

Availability
I work remotely from home doing virtual personal training and nutrition/run coaching. My wife splits her time working in office or remotely and has flexibility if needed. On occasion I may need to step out to do errands or go to an in-person training session but will let you know when booking.
