I have had dogs al my life. I grew up with a Border Collie and Carin Terrier. I later rescued another carin terrier from a shelter which my aunt then took in as her own. I rescued a small dog named Ollie and continue to encourage my community to rescue animals or adopt from a local shelter. I have been active in my community, particularly with the local animal shelter. I have lead volunteer initiatives, headed fundraisers, and led marketing campaigns with the objective of increasing community awareness, volunteers, and supplies. I am excited about finding another dog for my home currently as another member of the family and a great playmate for Ollie. My friends and colleagues tell me that I connect with dogs better than I connect with people.
