I have a grandfatherly approach to dogs. Love to engage them to play or go for walks. Enjoy the interaction with them. I am personable and outgoing and even "adopt" grand-dogs who love to come by and visit. I am known for spoiling them and treating them as our own!! They would get the best care as I could possibly give and would never leave them unattended. this applies to outside in the yard as well as inside. So, as a very responsible person, navy veteran and loving dog owner, I can promise to take the job of dog sitting, or walking, seriously. Extra spoiling included free of charge! Our house is dog friendly from the furniture to the floors to the wrap around porch!

Richard is a wonderful sitter and after many successful stays, we have complete peace of mind when we leave our pup with him. He is flexible and accommodating, and is great about sending us updates on how our pup is doing throughout the stay. She gets lots of hands-on attention and loads of affection and comes home contented and happy. Highly recommend!

Richard and his wife are fantastic. Theodore was well cared for and didn’t seem too concerned about leaving when I came to pick him up. I’ll absolutely look to them first the next time I head out of town.
After completing a successful meet and greet, we dropped jake off for a 7 night stay in April. On day three, we received a text message that they believed Jake had run off through an open gate and was lost. A few hours later they reportedly found Jake hiding in a closet in the house. We were able to have friends in town pick him up immediately. Our friends reported that there were more dogs at the house than we had been made aware of and the sitters reported to them having used an anti-bark device which we were not made aware of and we believed scared our dog into hiding. Believing our dog was lost near downtown Houston for several hours while on vacation was horrifying at best. Jake will certainly not be returning.
