Pet care experience
I have always loved dogs of all ages. We had a yellow lab named "Hannah" when my children were young. We adored her and she lived a long happy life. Since then, my children have adopted their own dogs, and my partner and I have had a few dogs as well, including a Golden Doodle (Mia) who we lost recently, and a Bernese Mountain Dog named "Lucy". I thoroughly enjoy playing with, walking, and just cuddling up with dogs.

Richard was awesome! He came to meet our boys, twice, prior to our vacation. He kept us updated daily and provided photos and videos of the boys, which was amazing to see! The house and yard were kept clean and tidy. It was such a relief for us to have Richard at our house and with boys. Our boys have had some negative results at kennels as they get so lonely and frightened not being at home and spending time with someone. It was amazing how great the boys were when we got home. I have known Richard for several years. He has always been an animal lover. He treats my dog and cat as if they were his own and they are always overjoyed to see him. He always pays attention to other people’s pets and spoils his own.

It is nice to know what activities your dog enjoys before spending time with them so they enjoy the experience as much as possible and feel comfortable with me. You can let me know where they like to walk and play, and for how long at a time before they are tired out. Treats are also important to reward our pets.
A typical day
I like to play fetch with dogs, or tug of war. I really enjoy walking dogs on trails, or letting them run in fenced areas. Your pets would receive lots of care and attention and would always feel loved under my care.

Availability
I am retired so my schedule is very flexible. My partner is able to take care of our cat and dog while I'm away. Due to possible "conflicts", we are unable to care for other pets in our home.
