Pet care experience
My husband and I have moved to Toronto 7 years ago and miss our awesome Labrador back home! We love pets and will spend a lot of time playing with them. They're always included in every conversation we have, are usually cuddling with us when we watch movies and are always treated like a member of the family. We've a great apartment in a very pet friendly building. There's also a lovely large balcony where a pet could hang out and enjoy the weather when it's nice outside. Almost all of the other tenants have dogs and you see a lot of them in the lift. So your pet will definitely meet some new friends and will have the chance to socialise on potty breaks. There is an unofficial dog park close by where we would be happy to take a trained dog for some awesome off leash play time! We have been doing Rover for almost 7 years now, so we ve met every kind of pet-rescues, seniors, yung un's :). We love getting to know each pet's personality-they are all indeed very different from each other:) We ask that you always remember to bring: FOOD+ WATER BOWL, POOP BAGS, LEASHES, BED IF ANY, BLANKET AND EMERGENCY VET DETAILS, just in case! Your pet's toys are also recommended to bring as they often help with the anxiety of living in a new place. I've had both a cat and a dog before, and I know about the anxiety that comes with leaving a pet behind when one has to go away.I know that pets are children and can assure any pet parent that leaves theirs with us, that the pet will have an awesome little vacation of their own and that they will be looked after like we would our own pets/ children:). We always send lots of daily pictures and can offer regular video calls with the owner too if they would like, just so they can watch their pet and hear them bark/meow/ make other cute noises :)!

They are simply the best! Thank you Richa and Sanket for the care and dedication you gave to my 1 + year old Labradoodle while I was away for 1 week. They sent pictures and updates every single day. Already, my dog loves and feel safe around them in my absence. Highly recommended ?

Richa and her partner were so accommodating of my many changes in schedule while they took care of my boxer Ben overnight. They were so great with her and knowing that she was in good hands during my own crazy couple of days was such a relief! Super attentive and welcoming to my sweet pup.
Amazing dogsitters! Richa and her husband were a joy to deal with :) They're very thoughtful and caring, flexible enough to allow me to book last minute, and their communication was consistent throughout the stay. My dog had such a good time that he looked like he was almost hesitant to come home at the end of the weekend lol. I would highly recommend Richa's boarding/sitting services.

We live on the 23rd floor-so are very watchful of pets in the balcony and never let them go out unattended. If your pup needs to be crated, we have space for a crate in the living room. Pets are allowed on the sofa but not on the bed in most cases. We don't mind having anxious pets sleep in their dogbed on the floor in our bedroom:)

If your dog has any sort of special needs, including oral medicine, we request that you demonstrate how this is done, one time. As much as we love all pets, if your dog/cat tends to nip/scratch in play, needs to pee every hour, wants to run around all day or needs to sleep on the bed, they may not be the best fit for our household.
A typical day
We often play fetch/where's the ball:) when at home. If your pet has good recall, it would be great fun to do this with them at one of the parks nearby. We cuddle a lot with all pets and always involve them in all daily at home activities.

Availability
One or both of us is always working from home, and will be present to look after your pet full time. We usually take pets on 2 potty breaks/walks a day but can customize it according to your pet's schedule. If we go out for small social events, it is likely to not be for more than 4hrs at a stretch.
