Pet care experience
I grew up with dogs, cats, fish, turtles, frogs… currently I have two cats and four hens that I care for. I'm very comfortable taking care of a wide range of pets. I have many years of experience house sitting and taking care of dogs, cats (and birds most recently). I also have experience as a farm hand and carpenter and am happy to do garden / plant care for folks needing that as a part of house sitting. As an artist paid gigs come and go so taking care of your furry friends and all the other beings that bring you joy helps me fill in the gaps. Last year my cat Luna had to have a surgery with pretty intensive aftercare so I do have experience with hot compresses, wound care, and helping pets to take medicines (pills and dropper form).

We just adopted lively Cosimo (a nearly 2 year-old Jack Russell / chihuahua mix) and are SO THANKFUL for Rian's calm, observation skills and professionalism. Every detail in Cosimo's walking schedule was attended to, which gave us great peace of mind while our feisty four-legger gets used to his new forever home.
Rian was amazing! She spent the weekend at my house and was so attentive with both my cats. I have a new young cat who requires a LOT of attention and play time, and and older cat who is feeling a bit stressed about the whole experience. Rian was wonderful with both of them, and kept me updated throughout my absence. I'd highly recommend her to anyone - but would also like to keep her secret so that she can always be available for me and my two kitties!!!
Rian was great with my 11-year-old dog, Wiki! They were so patient and caring and made sure Wiki got his arthritis pill each morning. They also sent regular picture updates to let me know that Wiki was well-taken care of and having a great time! Normally Wiki gets really sad when I leave, but he warmed really quickly to Rian. I will definitely call Rian to watch Wiki again in the future. Thanks again!
I never feel bad leaving Winston at home while I'm teaching anymore-- instead I feel happy that he'll get to play with Rian! Rian sends me pictures of Winston's smiling face, and treats Winston with the love and care that I know they give to their own pets. Extra belly rubs, extra frolicking in the sun, and ease on my part. Thank you for your care, Rian!

A typical day
Ive actually just moved to Atlanta from Jersey City Nj. One of my favorite parks in that area was Leonard Gordon Park, which was especially great for high energy dogs with all the steep hills to run up and down.

I'm currently working from home, so my schedule is flexible. Taking care of pets is a welcome change of scenery and break from computer work :)
