I attended Medaille College, a popular vet tech school in Buffalo, for almost a year and a half (before switching and obtaining my Accounting degree) where students were responsible for tending to and monitoring the lab animals (mice, rats, rabbits, and beagles). I am very familiar with handling, restraining, and observing (for abnormal) behavior, if need be. I have performed medication administration on mice/rats, cats and dogs (in pill or liquid form). I have been sitting for two "clients" for the past 4 years (one starting earlier this year) and may be able to provide their testimonials if requested. One client owned a 13 year old dog, now owns a 1-2 year old fur baby, and the second owns two dogs, two cats, and a rabbit. All of who I became most fond of and bond more deeply with each time visit. Additionally I provided vitamin supplements and joint supplements for the 13 year old doggo who I used to sit. My sitter duties include, or have included providing food and water, changing litter or bedding, and for dogs providing bathroom breaks or neighborhood walks.
