Low volume for personalized care!

Pet care experience

I'm a passionate animal lover with years of experience in caring for furry (or bald or scaly) friends. I have prior experience as a trainer, and have fostered rescue dogs, cats, rabbits, and aquatic animals for over a decade. As a lifelong pet owner myself, I understand the love and attention our pets need to thrive. I have a soft spot for older dogs and understand their special needs. I'll make sure your senior canine gets the extra attention, patience, and gentle care they deserve. I'm excited to offer my services to you and your beloved pets!

Ria was graciously able to accommodate us last minute and took perfect care of our pups. She sent so many adorable videos and photos and it was clear they had a blast with her and adored her. She is someone who really cares about dogs, probably one of the biggest “dog people” we have ever met while doing Rover and that’s saying something. She made her own treats and food and made sure the dogs were well exercised and cuddled and happy the whole time. You won’t be disappointed booking with Ria, she truly cares with every fiber of her being and it’s obvious from the moment you meet her! Plus she’s a friendly person who just loves getting to know her clients. This isn’t just any transaction for her this is her passion and it’s clear to see that!

Safety, trust & environment

Prefer 1 dog at a time but will extend up to 3 if two are from the same family. I have a fenced in front yard at my duplex. I have a neighbor dog within the duplex who is friendly and several regular parks close as well as an off leash dog park (I typically prefer not to take dogs in my care to the dog park as it can be a stressful situation but I am willing to discuss exceptions) My local vet is 2 miles away, and I am skilled in administering some medications. My house is the perfect paradise for your pup! For drops ins, I believe in slow walking our introduction in case your baby is skittish. For cats, a slow inviting environment where I sit on the floor to start is usually best. It is a case by case basis for dogs but my goal is to ensure they comfortable.

Information Ria S. would like to know about your pet

If the dog is extremely vocal, has had its vaccinations and is spayed/neutered, and if there is extreme separation anxiety. Also if the dog has been boarded prior and if they have dietary restrictions.

A typical day

I work with primarily seniors so we do a lot of mental stimulation and enrichment, but I also like to walk a light trail or go to the regular park with my pup (McNichols park, Central Park trail) and would love to do so with yours if they'd like. We soak up the CO sun and hang out on my front porch or they can romp around in my pet safe yard.

Availability

I WFH during the week. On breaks and lunches my pup gets a walk or a leashed park visit if weather permits. My own dog loves to travel with me on small errands and my car is equipped for it but I'm not out and about too often during weekdays. Before overnight boarding, daycare is strongly recommended.
