Hi everyone! My name is Rhys, and I live with my partner Sophie in the outskirts of South Manchester. We have a 4 year old cockapoo, Barley, who loves to play with other dogs, but is also happy to chill out. We joined this app to connect with people looking for boarding or day care, to give Barley the opportunity to make some new friends! We are both lucky to have hybrid working, so one or both of us are always around for doggy cuddles and attention. A bit about where we live... we firmly believe that our home is as much for Barley as it is for us - so no restrictions on access to a comfy sofa or cosy bed. We have a good sized, enclosed garden, so there is plenty of space for playtime. As for walks, we live right on the back of Wythenshawe park - 109 hectares of meadows, woods, and streams to explore. Rhys and Sophie have been so wonderful and professional looking after Anna, big hands to Barley too playing with Anna during her stay. Anna has been so well looked after, and Rhys even managed to do some training for Anna too. Cannot recommend enough for Rhys and Sophie and will definitely seek their help again! 😄😄
My poodle Peach stayed for 1 night with Rhys and Sophie and their cockerpoo Barley, I had lots of updates with pictures of her running around on a big walk. I felt very happy that Peach was taken good care of and would definitely use Rhys again.
Rhys and Sophie have looked after our cocker spaniel a couple of times. She always comes home very happy, having had lots of fun and attention!

Our dog, Barley, is very friendly and loves to make new friends. She loves to play just as much as she loves to sleep. We would always request to meet any new dogs before daycare/boarding, to make sure the dogs feel comfortable around each other (but we haven't yet met a dog Barley doesn't like!).
A typical day
We get up and let the dog out. I can go for a run and usually take the dog. We work from home during the day and take the dog out to the park or to the river during lunch. In summer, we do an evening walk but not after dark in the winter. On weekends, we explore the beautiful walks South Manchester and beyond has to offer, before cuddling up on the sofa for a film, or dinner al fresco (in summer!). Dogs in our care will get plenty of playtime and cuddles - our routine tends to be play, walk, sleep, repeat!

We're flexible with work, so just let us know what you need! Mondays and Wednesdays are easiest but any day is fine. We can accommodate most days.
