Pet care experience
I started my life in the animal world as an animal hospital kennel attendant when I was 18yrs old, which led me to becoming an Animal Health Technician in my 20’s. I assisted in surgeries and aftercare, dentals, IV fluid therapy, medication monitoring, Nutrition counselling, and much more for over 16 yrs. I was able to gain more experience when I became a manager at a animal hospital/pet supply store. I also have some experience in positive reinforcement training. I did move into animal welfare career after leaving the clinics. I have fostered many newborn puppies/kittens all the way to seniors and special care animals.

Rhonda is amazing and so is the app. Both are a life saver while my husband is away. I love that they send photos and report bathroom breaks on the walk. Gus really loves his walks with her.
Rhonda is so patient. We are trying to transition our dog from Daycare to a daily walk. My Dog takes a while to warm up to strangers. Rhonda is doing all the right things to gain his trust and not push him too fast. She is awesome.

I currently have a well versed cat when it comes to dogs, but she also has options if she requires her own space in our home that she can go to if she doesn’t want to be around your beloved pet. We also have a 16lbs small S/F dog who enjoys visiting play dates. The referee in our home is a small parrot who loves to watch the action! We do have a fenced yard. No newcomers in our home will have un-monitored backyard. We also have 4 chickens that are very social but are in a secure chicken garden for their safety. We can offer crate time if requested. Their and 3 adults in our home that enjoys 4 legged companions and cuddle time!

What special information can you give me to help make your pet comfortable? Do they have special toys they like or beds? Do they prefer to eat their food away from others? Are there things such as certain noises or objects that make them nervous and trigger them. What is their favourite place to get scratched.
A typical day
Typically a day with me looks like backyard time while I garden. Also walks and car rides, if permitted to go to a beach or parks or whatever the day brings us. I feel our fur friends enrich our lives so time spent is alway a positive experience. I enjoy fear free training and making it fun for them as well. The challenge and achievements are good for the soul!
