RETIRED COUPLE! WE LOVE DOGS!
Pet care experience
We are both retired and are at home all day. We have been married 30 years. We do not have any children and no grandchildren. We have 1 Italian Greyhound and 1 Mix. We are volunteers for the Italian Greyhound Rescue Foundation for 18 years. We have owned 8 Italian greyhounds since we met. We have fostered and babysat many dogs from the Italian Greyhound Rescue of Houston at our home. Our exterior doors are double gated. We have a beautiful backyard. All our gates locked. We have great references! We love dogs! We think you would love us. Our dogs own us. We only care for one family's pets at a time so your dogs will have our undivided attention.

David and Rhonda are wonderful pet owners. Very active in dog rescue and always willing to go the extra mile to help an animal in need. Oh my goodness! I'm so happy for Rhonda and David to become dog sitters! It would be hard to find anyone that cares for and loves dogs more than these two! They have gone out of their way, time and again, not only for their pets but for strays and rescues. You won't find anyone better!!
I would trust any of my fur babies with David and Rhonda. They have worked for years in the Italian greyhound rescue group and have fostered many while they were waiting for their forever homes. True blue dog lovers. There house is fenced and very secure too.

Does your dog have any fear or anxiety issues? Is your dog kennel trained? Will you be bringing your kennel? Is your dog house trained? Is your dog up-to-date with all their shots? What is your daily schedule and medicine schedule? Does your dog get along with other dogs?
A typical day
Our house backs up to a community walking trail. I like to sit out on the patio with my two dogs and watch neighbors walk by. I think your dogs would like to watch the people also. We can play fetch with them. And they get attention from all the walkers and the walking trail.

My husband and I are both retired. Most of the time, one of us are home at all times. If we go anywhere, we secure them in our office.
