Pet care experience
I’ve been working with pets all of my life. Growing up we had a huge yard and hosted many pets. We’ve always had several dogs, rabbits, chickens, hens, parrots and fish of course. Animals are really therapeutic for me. Throughout high school I even volunteered at a disabled horse farm where I worked with not only disabled horses but a pig as well. I can potty train pets as well as teach them simple directions. I am great with bathe times and fast walkers as well.

In my home I have a spare room dedicated to dog boardings. Though it is an apartment, I’m on the terrace level with 4 large screen doors to allow the dogs to play outside in a very big yard. I’m also within walking distance from Bakers Park which is good for a nice scenic walk. In my clients home I try to stay in the designated areas clients allow me in. Usually upon entry my first thing is to get the pets outside to use the restroom and then once back inside, hydrated and fed. Playtime I try to keep outside to not disturb my clients homes. For my more relaxed pets however I usually play with them on the floor of the owners home.

Is your dog sensitive to certain leashes? How do they behave around other dogs? If I pick them up while you’re away from home, will they try to lunge at me? Is your dog potty trained and leash trained?
A typical day
I love to practice commands and different cognitive exercises with pets. I live by a very big park which is typically my go to for pets. It’s quiet and scenic with miles of walking trail. It’s a great opportunity for pets to experience different smells and enjoy nature. Back at the house it’s all about love time and cuddles.
