As always, Polar was so excited to see Rhoda. She took great care and paid tons of attention to our little guy. Simply the BEST!!!

Rhoda provided excellent care and sensitivity to Angel. She was very conscience of her other dogs with Angel and we thought it was a great match.

It's like a day at Grandma's house!

I am a 4th grade teacher and my husband works for a fire department. We have 3 miniature wiener dogs of our own (oh and two grown daughters). Once we became empty nesters, our dogs became our children.

I often pet sit for my students' families. In fact, the video I uploaded is not of me talking, it's to show you how dogs who I often dog sit react knowing they are coming to visit ...

What Rhoda would like to know about your dog

I work with children daily. Dogs are very much like children. I have never had a child I didn't love and I have never met a dog I didn't love. Some take a little longer to understand, but when you peel back the layers, you find the most lovable of personalities.

When Rhoda watches your pet

Here's where we'll take our walks
We take our dogs for walks most nights. Two of our miniature wiener dogs are over 16 years old even though the average life-span is 12 years for this breed. We have been told it's because we take such good care of them.

Your dog's sleeping arrangement
If your dog is potty trained, he/she can sleep on the main floor, free to roam. Our dogs have a huge bed in the family room. Although during day hours, the dogs are always with us, it makes a great bed for visiting dogs at night. Our own dogs are kenneled each night, because though they are potty trained, if they need to go and we are in bed, they will go. However, they never go in their kennel. If your dog has potty issues, we will have him/her sleep in a corral so carpets are not ruined. It's a spacious corral that we purchased to watch our own daughter's dogs.

Time I'll spend with your dog
I do work but I am only 7 minutes from home. When I watch other's pets, I am able to run home during lunch period and planning period when needed. The school bell rings at 3:40 and I can head home by 4 when dog sitting. I am home on all holidays and all summer.
