Pet care experience
I worked for a professional pet care company as a sitter and daycare supervisor for several years. During that time I supervised an in-home doggy daycare from 10am to 4pm Monday through Friday. Daycare included anywhere from 4 to 12 dogs daily! It was a busy, full-time, hands-on experience that required keeping the dogs occupied with physically and mentally stimulating activities, as well as actively supervising to encourage safe play and prevent unwanted behaviors. I use positive reinforcement, such as small treats and petting, to promote and reward positive behaviors.

Rhiannon was phenomenal! Rhiannon was quick to respond and was great at communication. My 6 year old Irish setter, Sheila, hated to see Rhiannon leave! Definitely recommend and will be using Rhiannon in the future:)

I have a large, fenced-in yard for lots of safe outside play! Dogs are always supervised when outside, never left alone. I have two dogs of my own, ages 10 and 11, both large breeds. They are very good with other dogs, and I will verify that your dogs are also comfortable around them. I also have cats, so cat-friendly dogs are another requirement. I am able to administer medications and I will bathe your pet should they get into any mud or other gross stuff that dogs love to roll in. Any additional needs or preferences can be honored upon request.

A typical day
I like to walk at a pace that allows the dog to get exercise, yet also gives them time to smell all the exciting smells along the way. We usually manage to get a mile of walking, give or take depending on the individual dog's pace. If there are neighborhood parks available we'll take a trip there!

I am mostly self-employed and create my own schedule. I can schedule individual walks at various times throughout the day, including some weekends, and for recurrent walks I schedule between 9am and 5pm, Monday through Friday.
