Dog lover who has had family dogs her whole life

Pet care experience

My family has always had dogs growing up, and for the last 5 years I’ve had my own dog, Charlie - a small Jack Russell terrier cross. Charlie was a rescue dog who was quite anxious when we got him (lockdown certainly made that worse!) so I understand how to care for and look after anxious rescue animals. I love dogs, and I’ll be sure to look after yours as if they were my own!

Top marks from me, did a fantastic job of looking after our kitten in our absence, brilliant feedback after each visit and super pics. Came home to a very chilled puss. Thanks a million Rhiannon and Tom of course!

Safety, trust & environment

I have a safe, fenced garden which is perfect for small and medium dogs. I am very careful with opening the front door when dogs are around and have an internal door that stays closed before the front door is opened, so the dogs will always be safe and can’t run out the front. I have plenty of parks and fields nearby to go for nice walks!

Information Rhiannon M. would like to know about your pet

Let me know if your dog has any anxieties, medication or behaviours to watch out for. I’m comfortable with most dogs and giving medication, I’d just need to know ahead of time.

A typical day

I’ll wake your dog up with a nice cuddle in the morning, followed by a wall to the local park where they can have all the sniffs! There’s often other dogs around, but far enough away that if your dog doesn’t want to be bothered we can easily stay away from them. I can come back home for more snuggles and fun games - my dog particularly likes the game of wrapping a squeaky ball in a towel and then tying it in a knot that he has to undo while he ferociously squeaks the ball! I'll go for another nice walk around the local fields in the afternoon, and some games in the garden if they’re not tired out yet! I’ll only ever take one dog on a time, so you can be sure that your pup will have my undivided attention.

Availability

I can work from home most days so I can look after another pup during the day. If your dog isn’t good with other dogs, my dog Charlie is able to stay with my mum so, with enough notice, we could arrange it that I only have your dog.
