Pet care experience
Growing up, my parents had an array of dogs and cats all varying in size and breed. Not only that, but we also fostered stray cats and dogs! Through this, I learned proper training techniques, behavioral strategies, and at-home vetting. As a result, I’m now able to charm any pet I come into contact with- and if you don’t believe me I’m 100% willing to prove it haha! I also spent every weekend in middle and high school volunteering at my local animal shelter, CNY SNAP in Cortland NY. As an adult, I continued my parents profession of rescuing and adopting out both cats and dogs up until 3 years ago, when I had my baby! Now that she’s old enough I’d love to get back into the world of animals. I understand that not *every* pet is going to love new people, and that’s totally cool! I’ll never force my affection on an animal who doesn’t want it. I’m adaptable to their needs and know how to read animal body language so I can move accordingly. Sometimes your pet is shy and that’s totally okay! Do I regret not getting to love on them? Of course, but I don’t regret giving them what they need.

Rhiannon took good care of my kitties while we were away. One of my kitties acted out a bit, but she managed him and was able to get the job done.they were happy to see us when we returned and have settled easily back into their usual habits.
Rhiannon did a great job caring for my cat while I was out of town. She was very communicative and kept me up-to-date on how he was doing every day. I really appreciate her attention to detail and the thought she put into the daily Rover card.
Rhiannon was very sweet and really listened when I told her about my cat's likes and habits. Came home to a happy kitty.

I will not be caring for pets in home unfortunately as it would violate my lease. However, in your home I can promise an exceptional experience for both pet and you. I treat everyone and everything with extreme care and respect, I tend to leave things either the same or better than before (in the event of messes which, let’s be honest, tends to happen when working with animals). I’d adhere strictly to our pre-discussed pet care plan, while also providing unlimited cuddles and play time (cuddles and play free of charge haha), and if I had any questions or concerns I would reach out before taking any steps not discussed. As long as you know what you want from me, I’ll deliver and then some- but you won’t know until you try!

Any behavioral issues (can accommodate-just don’t want to be taken by surprise), any special needs/medication, their general personality, their schedule, and their favorite activities! Any bit of information is welcome, and I’ll create a written schedule with you prior to caring for your loved one that we both can review and agree upon.
A typical day
Based on your observation of what your pet enjoys, I’ll be sure to stimulate with their favorite activities! Whether it’s a nearby park, maybe a trail for a walk with new smells, fetch, really anything!

Availability
I work from home on my own time so I have open availability! Weekends welcomed, and most holidays as well. I would prefer not to have to be out of bed before 10 AM, but accommodation can be made haha!
