Pet care experience
After an extended research stay abroad, I've returned to Champaign-Urbana and cannot wait to begin pet-sitting once more! I grew up in a house with five cats and a dog; having cared for animals for most of my life, I cherish each and every pet I meet for their beautiful spirits and unique personalities. As a fosterer for the Champaign-Urbana Humane Society, I have experience giving medications, caring for sickly pets, and housing animals for extended periods of time. I look forward to meeting you and your pet soon!

I have never left Sassy with anyone besides my sons' family, but Rhiannon kept me updated and sent photos throughout the stay. Sassy did great. So appreciative of Rhiannon. Would definitely recommend.
Rhiannon was simply amazing, this was my first time using the Rover app and she did not disappoint. Rhiannon was very professional, courteous, and cautious of my uneasiness leaving my fur baby. She sent photos and updates throughout fudges stay which calmed my spirit and allowed me to enjoy my vacation knowing my pup was taken care of. I will recommend her!

As a pet sitter for professors in my department, I provide dogs with 3 walks a day (2 20 minute walks, 1 hour walk) and all the company they might need while their owners are away. Additionally, I live alone without other pets who might interfere with your pet's comfort.

Please let me know if your dog has any allergies, mobility issues, or aggression. I can accommodate all of these quirks, but they are important to know so that I can make your dog's stay here as relaxed as possible.
A typical day
Our walks will consist of various routes in the Urbana historic neighborhood. We might stop by Carle Park or walk along Vermont, Race St., etc. If your dog is interested in playing, we'll also have nightly play sessions! I have plush toys that we'll play with in addition to whatever toys you bring along.

Given my flexible schedule as a graduate student, I happily plan my day around your pet's needs, coming home for midday walks or playtime sessions to keep your dog or kitty company and provide pets and belly rubs. I know that cats and dogs can have difficulty adjusting to new people and new environments; I would keep your pet to whatever schedule they are used to make the transition easier.
