Pet care experience
Hi there! My name is Rhiannon and I’m a grad student at Sac State, pursuing a career in education. I've grown up with dogs my whole life and would love nothing more than to take care of them while I finish school. My mission is to take your dog in as my own and treat it with the utmost care when you're away. When it comes to dogs, I'm a lover of all shapes and sizes. I have lots of experience when it comes to animals, in that I've been pet sitting for nearly +5 years and have grown up with both a poodle and a bichon. I love to exercise and get outside, so I can assure you that your dog will get its paws moving when you’re away! I know handing your pet over to someone (even if it's only temporary) can be a scary thing. Rhiannon stayed at our home for 11 days to care for our border collie and senior cat. She sent texts with pictures of the pets just to keep us updated. The pets seemed very happy when we returned and the house was spotless. I would hire Rhiannon again!
Rhiannon was great with the 3 dogs & 2 birds I have. My flight got canceled and she stayed an extra night to help me out. She also sent photos of them all. I would definitely use her again.
My cats are always so happy and well taken care of with Rhiannon. She’s always our first choice when we go out of town.
Rhiannon was so much help to us while we were away…and on short notice. We are new to our area so family and friends are not within close distance for us to ask for help with care while we were on vacation. We have a bunch of misfits in our household and she didn’t miss a beat giving attention and care for each of them (even the chickens were fat and happy :)). She responded immediately, and made sure to send us pictures of our bunch every visit. Will definitely use her again!

When in your home, the health and safety of your pets will always be my number one priority. During house stays, I will regularly check to make sure that they have plenty of food and water. I will also make sure to never leave the front door open behind me when coming inside. Finally, I want your pets to be as comfortable as possible, so you can have peace of mind while you're away. I always like to leave some music on or even the TV whenever I have to step away. I will also leave your pets with their favorite treats to keep them occupied for the time being.

I don’t have any breed preferences; however, it’d be helpful to know if he or she has any food allergies and whether or not they are friendly towards other dogs and people. Thanks!
A typical day
I’m more than happy to take your dog on walks anytime, anywhere! You can expect your dog to get more than a few rounds of fetch in and even learn some fun tricks under my care :)

Availability
I currently student teach four days per week, so I'll have plenty of time to play and care for your pets! My schedule does allow me to do house stays during the week; however, weekends would probably work best. I kindly ask that owners be clear about their pet's potty break schedule so that I can accommodate them appropriately. I would hate for their pet to have an accident while under my care. Thank you!
