Pet care experience
I'm currently a volunteer for Shelter From the Storm, where I take care of cats and walk and play with dogs. My family rescued a Jack Russell who had a lot of trust issues when I was 9, I walked and loved her until her old age and she became a loving and trusting family pet. For many years I would walk and take care of dogs at the local humane society in my hometown as well.

Rhiannon did a great job taking care of my senior kitty Ernie! She was very responsive and kept in close contact whenever anything came up, as it sometimes does with the old guys. I felt confident my kitty was well taken care of every day of my week away ☺️
Working nights as a nurse has made it increasingly more difficult for my family to help with my pets during my shifts. Thankfully, I found Rhi on Rover, and it has been an absolute game-changer. Despite my dog's initial anxiety around new people, Rhi's warm approach immediately put him at ease. Her responsiveness and attentiveness to both my and my pets' needs have been outstanding. What initially started as a solution for my dog's care has also become a welcomed relief for my more social kitten. Rhi has truly been a lifesaver and I am so grateful for her help and her updates. This really puts me at ease during my long shifts being away from my fur babies.
Rhiannon was a very attentive sitter. She was very responsive and paid attention to Zilla's needs. Additionally, I'm so happy she accepted our booking request last minute. Highly recommend!

I don't board pets because my cat doesn't like other cats and I am unsure of her feelings on dogs. Plus I live in a pretty small apartment. I am happy to do drop ins and walks though!

A typical day
I love to take dogs on walks to new places and do lots of different enriching activities with them. My cat is really playful so I have lots of creative ways to engage cats, and I love to walk dogs and let them smell everything!

Availability
I'm currently a graduate student with a lot of free time, I have class only twice a week and I work part time but only for about 10 hours a week. I'm available during most weekdays at any time and variable times on the weekends!
