Pet care experience
I’ve had animals for my whole life! Ever since I was a little girl, I have always loved them and have always wanted to work with them. As soon as I graduated high school, I started college as well as my professional career specializing in the field. I have worked with many species ranging from small insects all the way to large pachyderms! I started my animal career pet sitting and worked my way up. I used to be a Vet Tech, an Aquarist, and now a Zookeeper!

Rhiannon looked after our two cats while we were away for two weeks and did a fantastic job. She was very communicative and sent us status updates on the cats and our home after every visit. As much as we missed our pets, we felt more secure knowing that they were in good hands.
Rhiannon watched our cats during our Christmas vacation and we knew they were in great hands. She was very sweet with them, and we were so grateful to have her as our sitter. A typical day
I am a huge enrichment advocate! I love to come up with enriching, species specific activities for animals. This helps me build a relationship with them, as well as engages them in fun and new ways!

Availability
I work full time at the Albuquerque Biopark Zoo. I am scheduled to work Fridays-Tuesdays from 8am to 5pm. I have often stayed at my clients homes and walked/fed pets early in the mornings and immediately after work. Depending on how close you live to the zoo, I am more than happy to come and check up on the kiddos during my lunch break as well.
