I'm a Canadian girl moved south just a few months ago! I've grown up with dogs since I was 8 starting with a lovely yellow lab and ending with my mother owning two yorkies, dad has a German pointer and bro has a German shepard! Most recently while living in Calgary Alberta, I would look after my in-law's standard poodle named Toni (short for Antoinette!) a couple times a year. Above and beyond because of my background with so many dog breeds I understand the differences in needs from large to small. I currently own a lovely rescued little terrier and she is the light of my life. Dogs truly do add something very special to our lives and its not something I take for granted. Stella (my terrier pal) and I play several times a day, we go on long walks around our neighborhood and beyond at least three times a day. Sometimes we hit the dog park for a little bit of time with other pooches. Stella loves all other dogs and is happy to play and share her toys with anyone who visits. I believe that like humans our furry friends have needs, thoughts, feelings and personalities. They need exercise to feel good, they need attention to feel loved and a healthy diet to stay strong. With me your companions will get all those things and more!
