Dogs have been in my family for my entire life. I have previous experience of caring for larger dogs, namely two Newfoundlands and a St Bernard! When I moved into my teenage years, my parents allowed me to have a lot more responsibility in caring for our family dogs and were happy for me to solely care for them whilst they worked long shifts or on holiday. After our larger breeds passed, my parent’s got their next dog, a staffy. He sadly passed away a year ago at the golden age of 11 and was a huge character in our lives. I would often step in and take care of him for my parents when needed. Myself and my partner have our own apartment and we got our first puppy in 2014, a ten week old French Bulldog called Winston who was the light of our lives. Winston had various medical issues and required on going veterinary treatment until he passed away earlier this year. Dogs are family to me and they will be treated with nothing but love, care and respect. I miss my boy very much and would love to have some doggy company back in my life!
