Pet care experience
Originally from Texas, I recently moved to Marquette after living and working in NYC for the past ten years. My professional background is in physical rehab. As the pandemic broke out year spring I thought it was the perfect time to finally make my move away from living in a densely populated areas and towards nature. Hence, Marquette. I'm currently not working so thought it was a great opportunity to extend my services to those in need of pet care. I travel everywhere with my copilot, an 8 year old, 14 lb, chocolate miniature poodle named Adelaide. I raised her in NYC from a pup up until a few years ago where we moved to Texas for a couple of years so that I could finish my degree. Adelaide is well natured, gentle, but always up to adventure. Raised in manhattan and going to work with me daily she is well socialized with other animals. So when my services automatically comes socializing. Being small Adelaide doesn't play with other dogs per se unless they are her same size or smaller. She's been trampled on one too many times from larger dogs and puppies but she'll hang with the big dogs.
Reviews
Rey did a great job with our active Aussie, taking him in hour long hikes every day he stayed with him. He sent pictures and kept us updated on how Sisu was doing, he was very well taken care of.
Rey is probably the biggest dog lover I've ever met. He cares for his poodle Adelaide like she's his child. Every need for stimulation or comfort that little poodle needs is met before she's aware of it!! It's really sweet. He will be a great person to take care of any of your pets.

Things I like to know about your pup beforehand: -Knowing your unique vocabulary you use with your pup other people may not know to use. -Any traits about your pup that helps me better read them better. -How they like to play: physical, like with tough-or-war, or hands-off but still interactive, like providing novel input. -Behavior that communicates with me what their needs are: hunger, need to go potty, need to go play, bored, anxious, etc. -It's normal daily schedule: sleep, walk, feeding. -What kind of other dogs they like and don't like. -if your dog has a history of being frightened by men or particular circumstances
A typical day
Activities your pup can expect from me: Plenty of new words, plenty of novel input and healthy activities. While I’m happy to walk you pup in your own neighborhood I love taking my own pup for hikes off-leash. Of course if your pup has a habit of wondering off or doesn't return upon command they will be on-leash. You will have to let me know how much I can trust your pup off-leash. Please let me know if your pup has an affinity to crawling or leaping into any body of water them come across or chasing dear and squirrels. Weather and time permitting, I'm happy to let them splash around just so I have enough time to hose them off and dry them off afterwards. As for transportation, I drive a Toyota Tacoma truck and so have a quilted waterproof dog cover over my back seats where your pup would be securely buckled in for all car rides. This of course is contingent on whether they have a harness for car rides. Some people don't buckle in their pups in car rides, but since you're trusting me to return your beloved family member healthy, happy, and whole I'm obliged to buckle them in when they ride with me. So if you don't have a harness with a seatbelt attachment please consider purchasing one. My girlfriend and I don't have kids so our home is quiet and relaxing. We have a fenced backyard where your pup can easily relieve themselves.
