Pet care experience
I have been on Rover since 2022 and have had the opportunity to love on dogs and cats across a wide range of personalities, sizes, and breeds! Prior to joining Rover, I walked and helped care for cats and dogs at the Wake County Animal Shelter. After that, I helped an old roommate with her petsitting business and also watched a neighbor’s cats regularly. I also grew up around cats. I absolutely love meeting and getting to know your fur babies 😸

Revathi has been wonderful - my 95-lb Golden Doodle loves her (and her little dog Bo) - she stays in touch with pictures and messages, took great care of Tug, and went above and beyond: the house was immaculate (cleaner than before I left) when I got home.
Revathi is fabulous, polite and very attentive
Revathi is terrific, and I think my 95-lb Doodle is more excited to see her (and Bo, her little dog) than he is to see me. She took great care of Tug, exercised him a lot, sent me videos of Tug taunting her with his rawhide chewies (it’s a poodle thing…), vacuumed the house, the house was immaculate, etc., etc. She’s wonderful.

Before every housesit, dog walk, and drop-in visit, I schedule a meet n greet with you and your pet(s) at your home to run through a list of questions to make sure I am catering to your pet’s individual needs. HOUSESITS: I have a crate-trained yorkie who always comes with me on housesits, provided he gets along with the other pets during the meet n greet. If this is a dealbreaker, I totally understand and respect your need to select another housesitter!

If you let me know ahead of time of any special needs, food preferences, aversions, conditions, fears, and any other quirks ahead of time, I can be sure to accommodate them. I also try to make sure I cover all the bases during my meet n greet interview by going over a list of about 20 questions with you about your pet’s daily routine, preferences, quirks, aversions, medical history, and more!
A typical day
I love taking dogs on long walks and challenging hikes! I also have access to several parks, including a dog park that only has one dog at a time with a lot of equipment. I have a variety of puzzle toys, a snuffle mat, and more that any dogs are welcome to!

Availability
I work full-time at a climate research institute here in Asheville. I work from home several days a week, so my schedule is really flexible to accommodate your pet care needs! I also love using a midday drop-in visit or dog walk as an excuse to get up from my desk and stretch my legs 😆
