I have been around dogs my whole life! Since marrying my husband we have had dogs most of our marriage, ranging from Chihuahuas, to a small lab, to a German Shepherd. Have raised dogs from puppyhood through adulthood. I recently was very active in training our GSD puppy, teaching her both hand signals and word commands. We have a smaller Lab currently that has great separation anxiety and is terrified of noises. So I am use to dogs having quirks as well. I have boarded my parents dogs in my house and enjoy spending time with all ages of dogs! I truly love all animals! I even help take care of my farm animals on my parents' farm. I believe in positive reinforcement and that all dogs should be loved and cared for like members of a family.
