Think of your pet as a child if you already don’t and think of me as a staff member on a school trip, I would need dietary requirements or preferences, allergies I should be aware of, areas of the house they’re not allowed in or near and medical information such as times to take medication, types of medication and what to expect once I have provided said medication in behavioural or cognitive terms. I have no preferences over pets I am happy to look after grumpy babies or hyperactive sensitive bladdered babies. You’re pet is your world in my eyes and I will do anything necessary to protect them, if you believe it is information worth knowing, I will have a note pad with me at all times and I am happy to take notes to ensure your darling is just as happy and healthy from the moment they are left in my care to the moment they are back in yours.

If you have a designated area you would like me to walk your pet I will definitely stick to it unless I am told otherwise. I tend to get the know the pet on a personal level so that I can make sure I bring the right toys they like to play with, a satisfying amount of water and snacks depending on their dietary requirements. I do get lost in observing the enjoyment in pets during walks so unless I am told otherwise we will usually go for a 40 minute walk. I will not let your pet off their lead unless I am told otherwise but I will be equipped with a 50ft lead so that they are fully able to play fetch walk ahead of me or behind me, if I believe it is safe for them to do so. I don’t have issues with cuddly or jumpy pets, I would rather be covered in fur than let your little baby go without a cuddle, so if you have a lap pet I promise you, you will never get a complaint out of me.
