Pet care experience
I’ve been a dog and cat (as well as other small mammals) parent most all my life and have professional experience working as a pet sitter and a weekend kennel attendant. I also fostered cats and dogs for the Guilford County Animal Shelter as well as the SPCA of the Triad. I have experience administering medications and working with animals that have special care needs or unique health issues. My schedule is flexible and I am willing to work around your schedule so your pet receives the care and attention it deserves. I can provide walks for active dogs or just gentle companionship for senior animals who enjoy a good nap and snuggles. I also have impeccable laser pointer skills to entertain the cats in your family ,and have lots of practice playing fetch. I adore all animals and can ensure your pet receives the same love and attention I would expect for my own fur babies!

Renee is so dependable and caring to our sweet Wilbur! I was able to relax and not worry about him while away on vacation. He was happy and chill when we got home so I know he had lots of good play and cuddle time with Renee!
We booked Renee again for our July 4th trip. And of course, she was just as amazing as before! We received the best pics and details of our pugs day each day! She even asked about how they handled loud sounds, so she could possibly prepare them better for all the fireworks that would go off. She really does care and is wonderful at making sure our fur babies are safe and healthy! We will always book here for any future trips!
Renee is the best!!!!! We have two pug babies, they are the world us! Leaving them to go on a trip that would not allow them is one of the hardest things I have ever had to do! Luckily we got Renee! She sent us the cutest pics of our babies each visit. That helped so much with our home sickness! And her updates and summaries were so detailed! We knew that she was actually paying close attention to our babies and caring for them as we would! From now on, I hope we can always get Renee!
Best. Pet sitter. Ever. Seriously. Renee was so attentive and so considerate and so caring that if they were to make a Rover movie about pet sitters they would cast her with Anna Kendrick and the only question would be how many Oscars it would win. We asked Renee to keep an eye on our beloved black cat, Joe - who doesn't like ANYBODY - and by the first night she was sending us pics of her and Joe playing. She wrote wonderful messages after each visit that were so reassuring to absent pet parents that we actually felt okay being away for so long. I mean, we missed our little dude, but we had complete confidence in Renee. We simply cannot say enough about how great an experience this was. Renee is a rock star, and her rating scale should go to eleven because she is off-the-charts perfect.

I do require a meet & greet first to make sure your dog(s) and/or cat(s) are comfortable and at ease with me, and to ensure you feel great about leaving them in my care. I also want to know if your pet has any medical conditions I need to be aware of, or if there are special care instructions to follow while under my watch. Things I will want to know include: Does your pet have any food allergies, and can they have treats? What is the feeding schedule and how often do they normally have bathroom breaks throughout the day? Does your baby have a favorite napping spot or toys they are especially fond of? I would love to know all about your pet(s) and the more you can tell me about your baby, the better I can respond to their needs!
A typical day
I like to walk dogs in neighborhoods that are familiar to them, or take them to the various Greensboro parks where there are no cars and less loud noises to distract or disrupt their outdoor time! I am an expert when it comes to fetch or playing hide and seek with dog toys. I'm also happy to just give your pet belly rubs or provide companionship while you are away. Your dog's and/or cat's happiness is my top priority!
