LOVING AND PROFESSIONAL CARE!!!

Pet care experience

Hello! I'm Renee and I have been an "animal person" since I was a child. Starting with the family pets that were usually strays that came to stay, until today, where I have a total of 5 rescue dogs with diverse sizes and personalities. More about them later! I worked at Pampered Pet Clinic in Hillsboro Oregon several years ago and assisted the vet with procedures, surgeries, vaccinations and medications. Does your pet need timed medications? I would be happy to help you with it. I have been involved with rescuing, transporting and fostering dogs through several rescues, including "Key to Happiness" rescue which rescued and healed many homeless and injured dogs and found them new forever homes. My approach to pet sitting is to make the animal as comfortable and happy as possible, depending on what that particular pet needs the most. Some need petting and cuddles and some need playing and activity or both. It is stressful when their family is away and I make sure to become their friend. I am not there to correct behaviors but to give them the love and security that they're missing with out their family. I also have had folks come in and look after my beloved pets when going out of town and I know that it feels a little odd with someone coming into your home. For that reason I treat your home with the utmost respect. I don't go into any rooms with doors closed and do not help myself to anything that you have not specified. I check and double check all door locks and gates and am familiar with alarm codes. Your keys stay on my keychain at all times until they returned to you. I'm a mature and stable homeowner in the area with stellar local references. I will be happy to meet and greet you in your home to make sure we are a good compatible fit and can't wait to meet your fur babies! I mostly work from my home doing my online selling and crafts so have full time availability for pet and house sitting in your home. Visits, walking and even overnights are available. If I am staying in your home while you are away I will periodically leave to manage my home and pets but never more than 4 hours. Because of the number of dogs in my home with varied temperaments and sizes I prefer to pet sit in your home, rather than mine. It keeps my pups more balanced and all pets are happier in their own environment.

Renee is AMAZING!!! This is not the first time she has cared for our pets. I first met Renee this summer when I was looking for someone to do drop in visits while we were up north for what was supposed to be a 10 day trip Max. My sister in law had been battling Pancreatic cancer for the last three years. She was young and strong so we thought she would eventually beat it. The point of our trip was to get up north for quality time while she was still healthy. Once we got there we quickly learned that would be the last time we saw her. We decided to stay on until she passed. Renee was such a blessing through this awful time. Not only did she care for our two VERY needy cats, she took care of us and our peace of mind while we were away. She was flexible, kind, and assisted with a number of extra unanticipated requests that came up as a result of us being gone. In total we were AWAY FOR 6 WEEKS!!!! Renee was so gracious told us to take as much time as we needed. When we came home it was as if we never left. Our cats were happy, slightly spoiled and maybe disappointed it was us and not Renee coming through the door! She sent us daily pictures, communicated if she had to come at a different time, checked our mail, our garbage, and so many other things. My husband was very hesitant in hiring a stranger to come in and out of our house while we were away. I am happy to report the man who trusts no one is also a huge fan of Renee’s! I hesitate in sharing this with the world because I would love to keep her all to myself. She has a very special place in our hearts because of her kindness during that time in our lives. Your pets, your home, and your peace of mind will all be well cared for if you work with Renee!

We’ve been using Renee for our 3 dogs for about 6 months and she is THE ABSOLUTE BEST. Our dogs love her and she takes such great care of them. She always goes above and beyond for them and she is great with communication with myself. She always responds quickly and is extremely accommodating. She has been a blessing for our dogs and we are so lucky to have her. I absolutely recommend her to anyone!

I would like to know as much of your pets specific habits and personality as much as possible prior to looking after them to be able to keep their routines and keep them happy. Pets come in all personality types. It’s important to know if your pet doesn’t like strange dogs or humans. Are there any specific feeding habits and are there any medications needed. I have cared for all shapes and sizes. From A St Bernard to a Pomeranian!
