Like many other people, I have a deep love for animals both wild and domestic. I have taken this love and passion and devoted my career path to helping animals and helping others understand them better. I got a Bachelor's of science in wildlife and fisheries sciences and am a few month away from earning my Professional Science Master's in zoo, aquarium, and animal shelter management. When I graduate, I hope to start a career in animal nonprofits and wildlife conservation. I have two happy and healthy dogs that I care for now. Not only have I had and cared for several of pets throughout my life such as dogs, cats, birds, and rodents, but I have professional work experience with different types of animals as well. - I worked as kennel technician at a dog daycare for over a year, in which my main responsibilities were babysitting groups of dogs (between 5-20 dogs) during the daycare hours, caring for boarding dogs, taking them for short walks, and cleaning up after them. -I volunteered at a local animal shelter for several months in which I mainly assisted with animal care. My duties included feeding and walking dogs. - I volunteered for a company called Pets Forever in which I assisted elderly pet owners with physical disabilities walk their dogs on a weekly basis and connected them with affordable pet care resources in the community. I am very flexible, positive-minded, and determined person, and I am hoping to find a way to help other with their animals while developing skills that will develop my career in animal care.
