Pet care experience
I've been an animal lover all my life. I come from a pet loving family and have experience caring for both dogs and cats throughout all life stages. I prioritize building strong connections with both pets and their owners. Clear communication, regular updates, and a genuine love for animals define my commitment to providing exceptional care. I have a dog of my own, Ronda who is a corgi mix. She is an absolute delight and gets along well with other dogs and cats. We go for many walks and enjoy spending our time with outdoor activities. There is nothing in my space that is harmful to pets, all animals are welcome on the furniture and your companion would get plenty of outside time and love during their time with me.

In my home, I provide a cozy and pet friendly environment, ensuring they have a designated space with comfortable bedding, toys, and access to outdoor potty areas. Regular feeding schedules and ample playtime are prioritized. For clients' homes, I adhere to the specific needs outlined by the pet owner, maintaining routines and providing companionship. This includes feeding, walking, play sessions, and any necessary medications. I ensure a clean and safe environment, respecting the home as if it were my own. Regular updates and communication with the pet owner are essential to keep them informed and reassured.

Please note: If you have a senior dog with mobility issues my home requires stairs. I can accommodate dogs with mobility issues at a maximum of 40 pounds if they need to be carried. I am confident in administration of medication so please provide me a detailed breakdown of admin times and protocols. We have a pretty laid back home so if you prefer we practice more strict obedience practices feel free to let me know, as I allow my dog to access furniture and have the occasional human food treat that's safe of course. With that being said, if there are any obedience practices you would like us to do just inform me and I am happy to accommodate.
A typical day
We start our day with a quick adventure around our neighborhood. When we get inside, we have our regular morning feeding time and say a quick goodbye as I head to my morning classes. I return home at noon and venture out for another lap around the area to stretch our legs and see what's new around the block! The afternoon is spent with lots of scratches and chit chat as I work on some homework assignments. When I'm all finished, we usually go for a car ride to get groceries or run errands! We cook dinner and Ronda is sure to help by providing clean up duty just in case any dog friendly morsels fall on the floor. After dinner we like to head to a nearby park in our neighborhood and run around in the fenced off area for a game of fetch or chase. We tuck in for the night in a big comfy bed, after our final potty break for the night of course, and look forward to the next new day!

Availability
I am currently a part time student, so I am only busy for a few hours during the day. I have morning classes from 8-12 3 days a week. If I am required to stay until 4:30 at the latest on the occasional day, I always come home for my lunch break to take my dog out. The rest of my time is spent at home doing school work or studying You can rest assured your pet will have lots of company during their stay with me.
