I have experience with small, teacup size all the way up to extra large and labeled aggressive breeds. I foster, transport, and perform welfare checks for two local rescues. Rescue animals have my heart and I’ve got a soft spot for senior dogs. Message me for any questions or concerns.

This was our third time using Renee to look after our kitties while away. She continues to give great care and attention with each visit. She’s also very observant with anything going on around the house and neighborhood. We love, knowing our fur babies are in great hands while we are gone.

I will treat your furbabies just like you would, so please leave me instructions on their routines, likes/dislikes, and quirks. My dogs are allowed on the furniture and sleep with me, so please let me know if your home has rules against that. My senior dog had many medical issues, so I’m no stranger to medication routines, special diets, and limited physical abilities. I’m used to walking at different paces, one dog at a time, or using a dog stroller to make sure everyone gets their much needed vitamin D, fresh air, and exercise.

As well as letting me know what your dog likes, please let me know what your dog doesn’t like- no pats on the head, don’t touch their paws, no squeaky toys? Allergies? Previous surgeries that may limit their abilities? Current injuries? Favorite toy? Any quirks? What else do you need for me to know?!
A typical day
I can incorporate games that you typically play or introduce new ones. (Hide and seek, snuffle mats, tug-of-war, fetch etc) I can walk or hike with your fur kids, and I have a full size dog stroller for seniors who might want a ride around in the fresh air but don’t have the strength to do so on their own. My preference is to stay in your pet’s familiar area until we are comfortable with one another. If your preference is trails, hiking, and dog parks, then we can work up to that. I also love couch potatoes and lap dogs. No dog is too big to be a lap dog IMO!

Availability
I’m at an office on Monday - Wednesday, and I work from home the rest of the week. My schedule is pretty flexible, so I‘m able to assist with vet and grooming appointments when needed.
