Pet care experience
I work from home and will be home during the day to take care of your pooch. We have a large fenced yard with plenty of room to run and play or grab a nap in the sun. We live close to the Reston trails and love to go for walks during the day where it's shaded. I love dogs and would love to take care of yours. My husband and I have three kids ages 7-11 who are great with pets (love to give dogs attention but at the same time treat dogs with the respect and love they deserve). I have a four year old terrier mix who likes to have a new buddy to hang out with. There will be no shortage of activity and attention in our house!

We cannot give high enough praise for Renee and how well she and her family treated our beloved pooch during our vacation. Bailey got lots of exercise, TLC, and enjoyment. Every picture sent during her stay reassured us that she was having a blast, since we know her nuances and looks. She came home in superb physical shape and we are thrilled to have Renee as her sitter.
Renee provided great care for Ginger. She sent pictures of Ginger having fun, playing with her dog in the backyard. I will definitely use book again!
My Dixie girl has stayed with Renee twice now and we love her!! She's so good at helping her deal with her social issues and her whole family is wonderful.

Any dog we care for must be child-friendly (and has preferably lived with or spent a lot of time with kids). We have three boys who love animals and are wonderful with animals, but they are active boys and can be noisy.
A typical day
We can walk around the neighborhood or take longer, shady walks on the Reston trails (good sniffs!). If a dog likes to play tug or fetch, we have plenty of human playmates for that too! Our backyard had lots of room to roam, plenty of squirrels to chase, and plenty of shady spots to grab a nap. If your dog likes to run and has good leash manners, I would love a running buddy!
