Hey Y’all, My name is Rene. I have had dogs all my life as well as some other animals. I worked for a doggy day care for a couple years, where I was in a yard with 20+ dogs. So being around dogs with all different personalities, sizes and breeds is something I am used to. I have 2 dogs of my own, Maci (3 year old, Pit) and Kayla (12 year old, boxer-pit mix). Both get a long with other dogs very well. I live in a multi generation house with my husband, two kids Wesley (7) & Harper (10) and my parents so needless to say we ALL love animals. There is so many of us, so more love to give!! We have a HUGE, beautiful fenced in yard (see picture, yellow mark is fenced). We did it so the dogs would have lots of room to run and play. It is about an acre (or more) of land. I have a pretty flexible schedule especially on weekends. I am currently an active foster mom! So there is a possible chance we would have another dog (in need) staying with us. I am big on meet and greets before committing to anything. I want to know I am a good fit for your needs and the dogs needs as well as for me and my family! Currently I am working from home on most days so I am able to come on breaks during the day or if boarding be with the dogs more. I grew up with amazing work ethics, I am trustworthy, friendly and reliable! I look forward to caring for your dogs!

Our (sometimes mischievous) 6-month-old puppy had a great time under Rene’s care. She has a very large yard and friendly dogs which were a great fit for our dog to help tire him out. She took good care of him and sent us daily picture updates which we really appreciated. Thank you Rene!
Rene instantly made our Copper feel right at home on day one! She has such a great home with a huge yard and caring family along with her own dogs for full time playmates. Cooper settled in very quickly and we could tell by the pictures Rene sent he really enjoyed his “vacation”. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a high quality sitter!
Rene and her family were beyond inviting and took such great care of my pup!! I highly recommend her, she will be my first choice if I’m in the area again. I trusted her from the moment we talked and could tell instantly when we met she was going to love Sadie as her own. Rene sent pictures, videos and updates on how things were going which I appreciated greatly.

I would like to know how your dog typically acts. Potty trained? Any previous aggressiveness towards food, toys, people? Do they need to be crated if I leave my home? Do they get into things or chew? Are they good with kids? Are they on a flea and tick prevention and bordetella vaccine?
A typical day
We live in a quiet neighborhood, little traffic, located by Wakefield so there are many places to go walking. We have a HUGE fenced in yard *see picture in profile, where the yellow is highlighted is fenced** also a smaller fenced in area with a pool (for any water dogs). I am comfortable with any level of exercise your dog may need or for any older dogs just some extra love and snuggles!! I allow the pets on my furniture and sleep in bed if that is what they are used to. I try to keep their same routine.

Availability
I am currently working from home on a hybrid schedule. If in the wake forest area I can do drop ins/dog walking only on the days I am home during the week. Boarding is fine home or at work because I also have my husband working from home to assist if I am in the office. I will take up to 2 separate dogs in household depending on the dog. If I know the dog and how they are then I would accept to board 2 at one time so this is on a case by case basis.
