Pet care experience
I have been pet sitting since I was 12 years old. Dogs, cats, fish, birds - you name it. I am a mature, grounded person who loves animals and people. I had a 14 year old lab mix dog with mobility issues who required extra care so I have alot of love and attention to give to your furry family member. I know how important your pet is and will treat them as if they were my own. I work from home so I have a flexible schedule and am extremely reliable. I am available for boarding, pet sits, drop ins, walking and routine vet and grooming visits. I live in the Redondo Beach area but am originally from Dallas, Texas. Look forward to meeting!

Let me tell you about my unique experience. We booked Rene to come in and feed our cat, then our furry baby came down with a UTI 2 days before we leave town ( now needs antibiotics for 7days ) . I know our cat will never come out to see his caregiver yet alone take meds from a stranger. Rene was so helpful while we change our plans multiple times until our eventual plan took place. I left Xmas eve and came home Xmas day . Rene took care of feeding and changing his litter for the 2 days instead of the 5. I just appreciated her support through this stressful time and her continual communication to see how our cat was doing. She's a lovely person with integrity. What more could you ask for to help care for your animal!! Thank you Rene!
Raven loved her time with Rene and Jeff! We appreciated that they could be flexible with drop off and pick up times, so everything was extremely convenient for us. Raven doesn't like noise so it was great to be able to get her out of the house while work is being done. She enjoyed her days of peace and quiet and all the extra attention and walks!
Rene and Jeff are the best! Our babies mean the world to us, and they couldn’t have been safer or more loved! The peace of mind we had knowing they were so well taken care of made our 12 day trip so much better! I highly, highly recommend them, and already have booked them again for January! Miguel and Ginger miss them already. ???
Rene and her husband did a wonderful job of sitting for our Moxie. While providing us with many picture updates during our vacation, we were able to see that she was given lots of love, cuddles, and potty breaks throughout her stay. They were also careful to follow our care instructions and medication schedule, which is always a big concern when we're away. I would suggest their lovely home to anyone, and will rebook again when necessary.

I love to know what your dog likes and dislikes are and whether they have any special needs or medical issues that need to be attended to. I am comfortable administering medicine and I have a lot of patience for dogs that are older or have mobility issues. I do not accept dogs that have not been house trained because we have a carpeted home. Dogs must also be up-to-date on their vaccinations and be current with flea/tick control.
A typical day
Long neighborhood walks with lots of grass and trees. A nice comfy couch and bed to snuggle up in and full run of the house (upstairs and downstairs). While I don't have a yard, I do have a nice patio where my doggies like to sunbathe (under my supervision of course). Frequent walks are a necessity when you don't have a yard so dogs get lots of frequent breaks when they stay at my house.
