Pet care experience
I'm a gentle human who has had pets my whole life including small animals, cats and dogs. In the past I've had multiple cats in the household at the same time. I LOVE to play with dogs. I currently have one 2.5-yr-old white German shepherd dog who likes other dogs, and one gerbil who stays in an enclosure. I recently lost my senior dog (chiweenie-pom mix) to heart failure, so i have a lot of love and time to give. I am a trusted person in the Coulee community. Whether your pet needs daily visits or vacation care, i am here for your best friend. Or perhaps you are visiting our beautiful area and wish to drop off your dog for the day while you go explore? Whatever your situation I look forward to getting to know you and your pet and providing trustworthy and reliable TLC while you are away.

I have a fenced yard and one friendly big dog who loves to play. Easy to do multiple potty breaks per day. For drop-ins in your home, I will follow instructions on care, feeding, medication and exercise. Your dog will be happy to see me, and vice versa!

I love big and small dogs equally and have experience with both. My small senior dog (who just passed) had some special needs and required a lot of refereeing with my younger big dog. Ahead of time it will be good to know any of your dog's triggers, possessiveness, favorite items, and how they do with other dogs. Also let me know the dogs energy level so i can schedule exercise appropriately.
A typical day
We have lots of toys, a fenced backyard and nice places to walk and sniff to keep your dog entertained. Fetch, tug, and chase are some fun ones - following your instructions and suggestions of course.

Availability
I work from home as a part time news reporter. I am occasionally out to attend meetings and other events and errands, but my life revolves around my big high energy dog! I would love to extend that care and attention to your pets.
