Pet care experience
I have owned dogs my whole life and love being around them. Along with my rescue pup MJ, I have a horse and four bunnies and am skilled in cat, dog, small animal, and farm animal care. I am used to energetic dogs as I grew up with three terriers and know they need quality time outside playing and going for walks, and I love to send updates and photos of the animals. I have volunteered at both small animal and dog rescues and am happy to work with animals with specialized care needs such as insulin shots. The animals happiness is always my priority! I am also available to help train basics and build confidence in your pup.

I am happy to stay overnight or do check ins. If staying overnight, my pup MJ would need to accompany me. She is well trained and well behaved and loves playing with other dogs. I can work on basic training, including crate training and am experienced with puppies.

Please let me know if your dog has any specialized care needs or any behavioral issues you would like me to work with. I am comfortable handling high stress dogs and love finding ways to work with them through their anxiety, as well as using +R to bring them out of their shell.
A typical day
I love to hike and bring the dogs along with me. I allow them plenty of time to sniff and play while working on basic leash etiquette and commands while walking. I train using positive reinforcement and bring lots of treats on my walks to reinforce good behavior!

Availability
I currently work full time at the local hospital but have plenty of time during the week to meet your pets needs! I have my own dog that comes with me and is well trained and behaved.
