Pet care experience
I have always had a natural affinity for dogs. I have extensive training and experience in caring for dogs including the following: Level 2 Volunteer/Foster at Humane Society Naples (Naples, FL), Rescue Facilitator at Costa Rica Dog Rescue (La Fortuna, Costa Rica), and proud long-time pack owner. I am an avid rescue advocate and "fur mom" to my failed fosters, "Peanut"- an 8 year old rescue Chorkie, Rapunzel- an 8 year old rescue Chihuahua, and Rocco, a 3 year old rescue "Chug" (Chihuahua-Pug). Dogs are an instrumental part of my life, they bring so much joy and laughter. I am often guilty of judging a person by whether or not he/she has a dog. If you are a shameless dog lover like myself, rest assured, you and I will be friends! ?

Where do I start? Do I mention the rescue from Costa Rica that she made as she didnt have the heart to leave that dog there while on vacation. Maybe i describe 4 trips we made together (each 100 miles) to drop off blankets to an out of town shelter in need. There was the time she nearly lost it over a dog who was being abused while on a visit to an adoption kenel. I had to do everything in my power to keep her from calling PITA. Shes the real deal.
Reinie has a love and compassion of dogs that is unprecedented. She understands that they are family members and just as important as caring for a human being. She has a wonderfully dog friendly house along with her own best friend to provide any dog the feeling of being in a pack. She has a schedule that allows her to be at home with the dogs most of the time and provide them with a tremendous amount of quality time. Her fenced in backyard along with close by parks and walking trail is ideal for anyone needing to leave their best friend behind for a bit. She has a relationship with a reputable veterinarian in case ever necessary. I highly recommend Reinie as a dog sitter, but be cautious....they may be extremely spoiled while in her care.
