There have been few periods of my life without a dog! I was the only one home from school when my family's current dog was adopted, so I trained her, and I adopted my own pup (Milo!) two years ago. In training Milo I attended several classes that have given me a basic understanding of animal training and canine behavior. My girlfriend and I use this knowledge to make life as stimulating for our pooch as possible! I am a high school teacher and I am home for the summer! This means I am around 95% of the time and can be very flexible with scheduling! I live on a cul-de-sac with a large, fenced in yard that has two sections! My girlfriend and I are both dog-lovers with lots of love to spare. Our own pup, Milo, is a little rescue mutt (15 pounds) who loves to play and socialize - he's never met a pup that he doesn't like! He spends large amounts of time out in the yard on our quiet street during the summer months and would love to have a buddy!
