Pet care experience
I am a local Biology student with many years of animal care experience. We have two black cats in our home. I grew up on a farm and have taken care of animals like and black bears and primates, and domestic pets like dogs and cats. I can sit any animal (exotic or not) and will allow walkthrough of our home -and yard prior to sitting your scaly/furry friends. A little to know about me is I just recently left the Marine Corps and Joined the FL National Guard and am a student at University of North Florida. I am a wildlife conservationist at heart and would give my life for the smallest of creatures. I am doing Rover because I love animals and I am supporting my family while we finish our degrees. Reich helped us out last minute w some daycare while we were in town for the day. Sent us some pics throughout the day and made it easy for us to enjoy our day knowing the dogs were in good hands. Would recommend him for sure.
Sitter agreed to time frames/ terms of drop off and pick up yet gave push back on the terms that were agreed upon prior to dates of service. I had to leave out of town very suddenly and was asked by the sitter if I could pick up my dogs 7 hours earlier than agreed upon because they had a lot of things to do. I had things to do, too. Out of town. Hundreds of miles away. Totally sucks getting a message like that when you think you have peace of mind about having someone agree to sit for your pets. Everything happens for a reason — my good friend was over at my house in the morning while I was out of town and the sitter was able to drop off my dogs at my home to him. I struggled to write this but felt it my be beneficial to others who might be reading this. This totally added extra stress to an already stressful event for me.
Glad a found Reich on short notice to keep LuLu for an extended stay of 9 days while I traveled to Hawaii. I appreciate the flexibility with drop off time; he even allowed an early drop off for no additional charge. LuLu seemed to be well cared for & Reich did a good job of keeping in touch. Thanks again, Reich!

I make sure every dog is comfortable with me, and I let them walk around my home to get a sense of the area. If the clients home I make sure the dog/dogs are comfortable with me as well, and once they are I proceed with taking care of them.

I would like to know if your fur baby has any allergies, food sensitivities, or issues with other animals. Does your dog act aggressively towards other dogs and can I bring them to a dog park with no issues? I have no breed preferences.
A typical day
With owner consent dogs will be taken to the park go for car rides, near nearby lakes, or playing in the dog pool I have outside if they love water!

Availability
I work full-time, but when I am home I make sure to give your fur babies my undivided attention. My wife is home all day, so she can definitely help out with your fur babies!
