I truly believe that dogs are man's best friend. I've owned a female terrier for six years as a child and a collie for 3 years in my 20's. The memories I have raising, training and playing with those two are priceless. Both were taught to be well behaved, mild mannered individuals. I am a retired disabled veteran.
