Have my Veterinarian Assistant Cert

Pet care experience

Hello, I’m Regina. I received my veterinarian assistant certification at a community college in 2011 and completed my externship in a local vet clinic. In addition, I’ve done some volunteer work at an animal shelter where I trained pups that had behavioral issues and taught them basic commands. I grew up with dogs and have always had the drive to work with animals. Pet sitting makes me very happy. While I sit for your pooch, I'll be the sole caregiver but my daughter and granddaughter live with me. They both had dogs growing up and have a lot of experience handling them. I don't have a dog right now, as my last pup passed away in 2014. I live in an apartment and unfortunately, don’t have a backyard. I live in Tucson Arizona and love my neighborhood. It’s quiet and has a lot of charm. There are plenty of trees, sidewalks, and dog parks to walk to. I joined the military when I was 19 years old and became a military police officer, which helped me gain invaluable leadership skills. After 22 years of service, I am now retired. I have five grandbabies and love spending time with friends and family. I’m an intelligent, fun, and responsible person. My easy-going personality and determination to make animals happy and comfortable make me the ideal pet sitter. I like to go on walks, go to the library, ride my bike, and spend time with my loved ones. I also love going on trips and travel from time to time. I enjoy watching TV shows with animals such as National Geographic and Animal Planet. I’m also fond of going to the zoo to see new exhibits.

Overall rating is 5 star. This was the 1s time I used Rover and it could not have worked out any better. Regina was great. There's a lot positive I could say, but I won't go on and on. Just know that your dog will be well taken care of if left with Regina.

I’ve known Regina T. for the better part of 17 years. At the time we met Regina had an American Bulldog with which upon observation one could tell that her love for her pet was powerful due to her love for animals. I witnessed the command she exuded by her demeanor she had in response to her pets behavior. Then I witnessed her attitude towards another pet owner and even my own dog, a beagle. She expressed a knowledge of both our pets characteristics. She is cool, calm, and collected and will be excellent in this capacity..

Information Regina T. would like to know about your pet

I’d like to know about your pup’s breed, personality, exercise requirements, health issues, and feeding schedule.

A typical day

I'll walk your furry friend first thing in the morning. Next, we’ll have breakfast. Then we’ll get in my car and go a park. I’ll make sure to give your dog plenty of potty breaks and a good nap if they’re tired. In between walks and naps, we might cuddle up to watch TV or play. If any problems arise, I always contact the owners ASAP and welcome doggie parents to call me or drop by anytime.
