I have been watching dogs in my home for years. I have dogs of my own and am involved heavily in rescue so have been around dogs and witnessed many dogs situations and behaviors. My house is very dog friendly. The dogs are allowed on the couches and there are dog beds everywhere. My own dogs sleep in my bed and some dogs I watch do too. I always feed dogs I watch separately from my own. I have experience with foster dogs as well. I have a teenage son who loves dogs as well. I have always taken the dogs in my care for play time at the dog parks as well unless someone did not want that. I have a flexible schedule and am home often. I have a dog door for 24 hour access. We currently moved locations and are now on an acre lot. the dogs love the extra room. About this sitter: I can walk your dog within a 3 mile radius of my place. the charge will be $12 for 1/2 hr. If you need home visits to your home, I can do that for $25/visit (hour visit). I know the importance of being away and relying on someone you trust. I have many senior and special needs dogs I care for. I work in and around rescue and have handled many different issues with all kinds of dog behaviour and have walked up to ten dogs at a time. I will stop whenever I see a loose dog and get it to safety whether that means taking it to my home or to a vet or back to its owner.
