Hi, I'm Regan 👋🏻 Older than I look, not married or doing the kid thing! 🤷‍♀️ I've lived with dogs my entire life; they’ve always been members of the family. It was very clear at an early age that I was most definitely a dog person. I exhibited all the signs: wanted to be a vet, and “forget Barbies, do you like Pound Puppies?!!” From ‘14-‘16, I walked dogs for the Wisconsin Humane Society (Oz) for a few hours every Friday evening. In doing this I gained excellent training and experience handling dogs of various size, age, temerpament, training levels & personalities. I adore the time I spent doing this and the knowledge I gained! If you’re seeking someone to watch your pooch(es?), I promise to provide outstanding care and love to your furry family member, in whatever way you and it need: walks, cuddles, playtime/energy burn, practicing learned training, or just keeping water & food fresh. You name it and I am happy to provide! I currently cohabitate with an incredibly well-behaved, now 9 y/o, medium-sized mixed breed pooch named Pepper. She does a really great job communicating with other dogs, including guests we host and my various family members dogs. She isn’t high energy and she suffers from arthritis, so she’s not interested in playing or doing much with frens. If she needs to be firm and really insist that it’s not her thing, she isn’t aggressive or mean about it 😊 She’ll let a couple low growls roll if she needs to get a message across, and I have never experienced any kind of escalation with her.
