Pet care experience
I've taken care of a wide range of animals since before I can remember- it started with cats, then included dogs, rodents, alpacas, llamas, birds (of all sorts), horses, cows, donkeys, coyotes, hedgehogs, geckos, and fish. I love all animals and yhrough a combination of family and friends owning them and volunteering I've amassed a long list of animals I've helped care for. I also have experience giving medicine to many of these animals, mostly via food or a syringe in their mouth, but I also have experience giving sub-cutaneous shots and IV's. Walking, feeding, washing, and general cleaning are all comfortably in my wheel house. I will sing slow sad songs to your pets (don't worry, they don't get bummed out).

Reese did an amazing job with our animals. He is clearly passionate about their care and was wonderful with them. He quickly understood how to care for our ducks and frogs and also watered our plants for us. We would happily hire Reese again!

Right now I am unable to host any pets at my own residence, but I have reliable and fast transportation to be able to make it to where the animal is to do whatever is required of me efficiently, so there is as little time as possible where the pet is waiting for me. I am always respectful of the spaces I'm in and in the event of a mess I always make sure to clean up, though this has rarely happened.

I prefer to know if there's any sort of handling behavior that I need to either stay away from or focus on, and if there's any behavior of theirs I need to encourage/discourage, as well as any extra needs they may have.
A typical day
I love to play anything with dogs- tug of war, fetch, just running around, you name it! Whether it's just the dog's favorite game or something you want them to become more used to doing, I'm always game. I love walking along whatever paths are closest- bike paths, trails, to the nearest park- and seeing where the dog is interested in heading. Off on an adventure! With cats, I always check the cat's mood- does it want to just be fed and left alone? Is it hiding because it doesn't like strangers? Is it greeting me at the door and leaving no personal space, trying to get pets, play, or food faster? Whatever the cat wants, I make sure it gets, and I'm always happy when I get to hang out with an affectionate cat, giving it some love and playtime.

Availability
I currently work full time with most of my hours being 8:00am - 4:30pm Mon-Fri. Anytime before or after that I'm happy to book, however Mondays and Wednesdays I also work a second job 5:00pm-12:00am, so while I can do drop ins between the two jobs in the afternoon I wouldn't be able to do walks. I usually wake up around 6am but have no problem getting up earlier, I try to keep my schedule flexible to accommodate clients!
