Pet care experience
For my entire life, I have owned or lived with dogs! My friends know their dogs can be trusted with me, and love seeing Annie(My dog!) and me! I love watching dog behavior and learning about why they do, what they do. You can find me at the dog park, hiking with annie, at work, and around town with Annie. Annie is my current best friend - She's a spayed female English Bull Terrier. I know you see "Bull Terrier" and might worry, but don't worry! After doing my research on what breed to get and finding the English Bull Terrier, I was ready to adopt a companion of mayhem. However, when I picked up Annie from the shelter, I found she is one of the most calm, and easygoing dogs there is. She even gets along with various friends dogs who have dog aggression issues, as she generally doesn't care/react to aggressive displays, and winds up getting along wonderfully with them. I can bring Annie along for walks if your dog would like a companion/socialization work, if you wish.

Reed was a great sitter for my cat lucky! They had a great time together and I received lots of adorable pictures of them playing together. I definitely recommend him to watch your furry pets :)
Reed obviously cares a great deal about the dogs he works with and he did a great job with our shy and a little anxious dog!
Reed is an exceptionally caring and motivated individual. His work ethic is only surpassed by his love for animals. I can’t think of anyone I’d trust more than him to watch my sweet senior dog.
Reed clearly loves animals. He is very confident around dogs and can handle even the tougher, rowdier pups. I know he had a lot of pets growing up and is great with cats too.

I always try to meet dogs with the owner before caring for them - usually treats and positive interaction enables me to build an amount of trust with the dog and is then comfortable with my presence. I enjoy playing and interacting with our four legged friends, from fetch to dog parks to hiking!

Any aggression, anxiety, or other issues. Note these are NOT a deal breaker, but I will need to plan walk routes accordingly. I can generally reassure/refocus/calm down dogs.
A typical day
Depending on the length of stay, and what youd like, we can (With or without Annie): -Go on walks along the various trails -Head out for a tough hike that is sure to wear your pooch out -Relax at home with a few games, training sessions, and some lazy day couch petting -Walk around town for some positive socialization training and interactions -Hit the dog park and play with all the other dogs (I only take dogs to the dog park that I have met/watched a few times that can be trusted to not take flight once off leash, and that have been to the dog park along with myself and Annie. I can also take your dog to the fenced in park if needed) -Join group dog walks

I am lucky enough to be able to take Annie most everywhere I go as Lexington is very dog friendly. She comes to work, shopping, hiking trips, and anywhere that'll allow her in.
