Pet care experience
I have been taking care of dogs since I was 5 when I got my first dog, Kai, who is almost 8 years old. Kai loves dog friends of all sizes/breeds, especially small breed dogs! I take him on walks at least 2 times a day, but on weekends we go on longer walks/hikes or to a dog park. We have a fully fenced yard for quick potty breaks or play at home. I have cared for dogs for neighbors and friends and have references as requested. I also have experience caring for other animals including horses, cats, and rabbits, I can also wash and brush your dog, play with them as much as I can, and practice requested training. We have lots of toys, treats, and extra dog bowls and bed if needed. Finally, my family also has a lot of personal and pet care experience and is here to help me. Alma and Rebekka have taken care of our 3 cats and 1 dog several times over the past few years while our family has been away on vacation. They are both truly outstanding! They are highly responsible pet-lovers, which is the perfect combination. Cat care included wet and dry food twice/day, daily litter box cleaning, and cuddles. Dog care included feeding and lots of walk and attention. My animals were always in a good mood and great condition when I returned and are clearly fond of Alma and Rebekka. None of my animals (who are all a little anxious) do well when boarded, so being able to go away on vacation with perfect confidence in their care allowed us to truly enjoy our vacations. They have my highest recommendation!
